In this class, you'll learn all the basics of crochet, including how to hold your hook and yarn, how to create a foundation chain, and how to crochet the essential stitches: single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet and slip stitch. We'll guide you step-by-step through the process and provide helpful tips and tricks along the way. You'll also learn how to work both flat and in the round and how to read a simple crochet pattern.

By the end of the class, we'll combine all the stitches and techniques we've covered to create your very own Granny Square. We'll provide inspiration and guidance for simple crochet projects you can make with your newfound skills. Get ready to feel confident and proud of your crochet abilities! This class is held in person at our Bainbridge Island shop over two sessions on Saturday, June 6th and 13th from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Taught by Angela Wong!
