Discover the magic of transforming raw fibers into beautiful, handspun yarn as you explore the foundational techniques and skills needed to create your very own yarn, using a spinning wheel!
In this two part intro class you'll learn everything you'll need to get started on your spinning journey, including:
- Learning all about the spinning wheel and it's different parts
- Learning about and practicing treadling and drafting fiber
- Creating a 2 ply worsted-style yarn
- We'll guide you step-by-step through the process of spinning yarn and provide helpful tips and answer any questions along the way.

This class is held in person at our Bainbridge Island shop over two sessions on Saturday, May 23rd and May 30th from 10:30am - 12:30pm. Taught by Betsy Pingree!
